Sikaru Saathi is a repair and maker-centered education program that promotes accessible, playful, and active learning on e-waste and repair. We aim to educate our community on the importance of reducing e-waste and encourage responsible disposal and recycling practices. This program is a joint initiative between Doko Recyclers and Karkhana Samuha, supported by Eriko Shrestha, a Lang Social Impact Fellow at the Lang Center for Civic and Social Responsibility at Swarthmore College.

Sikaru Saathi offers extra-curricular programs and intensive bootcamps. Through engaging activities and experiments in our program, students can learn how different electronic devices work and how they can be repaired. This helps to foster a deeper understanding of the repair process and encourage students to think critically about the issues surrounding e-waste.
